2 December, 2007 by parranormalYou may have heard of Emma Clarke, the onboard voiceover of the London Tube because she recently lost her contract after posting spoof messages on her website.
Spoofs like this one:
Her website has a fun section where amongst other things you can create your own spoof messages – like this, perhaps.
The controversy over Emma’s spoofs and her sacking jumped traffic to her site from some hundreds a day to over 300,000 a day and the server melted and was off line for a few days. But you can take a look now.

21 November, 2007 by parranormalHave you heard of the Mumeson Archives, run by Sydney personalities Jay Katz (Jamie Leonarder) & wife Aspasia (aka Miss Death).
They are specialists in rare cult film & video documentaries which they show each week usually in their Annandale home behind King’s Furniture on Parramatta Rd & Trafalgar St. A fortnight ago they showed for the first time in over 35 years the Japanese tv show “Phantom Agents” along with some rare Japanese puppet shows & an episode of “Johnny Sokko”. This week they will be showing some rare JFK assassination film/documentaries. Jamie has been called “Mr Conspiracy”.
They have a radio show on Saturday mornings (Radio FBI, 94.5 fm, 10am to noon) which will publicise their screenings or go their website. Price is usually $10 which includes soup/goodies cooked by Miss Death!
We do have an education level here….

This annual event is absolutely free – organised by Garry D. of the Sydney Futurians (oldest sf group in Sydney & probably Australia). Over 30 fans, authors, publishers, archeologists, etc, attended. Books, mags, etc, donated to raise money for next year’s con. Details of next year’s freecon available next year throught SF Bullsheet (internet) as they arise or check with Sydney Futurians (monthly meetings at UTS Tower building) (see website)
